Windows Version: Windows 11 Pro for Workstations, 21H1 Build: 22000. My work around rn is just not open the sound settings anymore, but thats surely a weird bug. After i restarted my PC completely, everything was back up again and i thought maybe it was just a random thing, so i again opened the sound settings, but still the same issue. And the soundcard did not output any sound after i opened the Windows Sounds Settings. I restarted SBC but it still froze after a few seconds. You may want to check out more software, such as Sound Blaster Tactic 3D, Sound Blaster Recon3D. With this application you can Improve your audio entertainment experience, as well as easily manage and manipulate your media files. and then both the windows settings and SBC froze for 2 seconds (without changing the source, just opening the options) and afterwards it was unresponsive and shortly later SBC crashed. Then i wanted to Test the difference between on board sound (I should probably mention that i use the External Audio Controller instead of and the Card so i replugged my headset into the frontpanel, went in the Windows Sounds settings to change the source.

Amazing sound coming from this portable DAC/AMP sound card! Previously was using the Sound Blaster Z card, but my model was missing the 600Ohm headphone amp, so I decided to get this instead of another PCIe card, also, the Z card just wasn't able to run my Beyerdynamic DT 990 250Ohm headphones without having to adjust the volume higher, and even then it sounded like it was missing some details in the audio.
